Hi, I'm Gahmya Drummond-Bey.

I'm a global curriculum designer. I travel the world and help to create learning programs in different countries. 

I have not only taught for almost 20 years, I've taught online for 9 years, and taught through three pandemics. I experienced my first one, H1N1, in 2009 during my first year teaching in South Korea.  My 2nd pandemic was the MERS pandemic in 2015. The 3rd pandemic I experienced was COVID. 

Every single time, it became important to learn different ways to engage students who did not feel comfortable studying in person.

 Thus, my journey as an online educator began.

Now, we have taken a leap technologically and we aren't simply teaching online because students can't attend school, we're teaching online because engaging online is now an important aspect of their lives as digital citizens.
